Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Turkey Meatball Soup

Despite the calendar telling us that it is officially spring, I’m not sure if I believe it! The cold air always leaves us feeling with a desire for a warm, nourishing meal. This Turkey Meatball Soup is an easy recipe to make when the family is craving soup.

One of my favourite ingredients is Rawsome by Now Foods! Rawsome, a whole food meal, makes adding nutrients to our comfort foods convenient. To make this soup recipe, many of the ingredients are ones that you already have at home.

To prepare the meatballs:

1 pound of ground turkey or chicken

1 egg

2 tbsp Rawsome by @Now Foods

¼ cup nutritional yeast

Salt and pepper


To prepare the soup:

6 cups of bone broth

3 celery stalks, chopped

3 carrots, diced

2 cups of spinach, chopped, stems trimmed

2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp parsley



Using a tablespoon, scoop some of the chicken mix and roll into a ball. Once rolled, place it onto a dish. Repeat until all the chicken mix has been prepared into balls.

In a pot, add the bone broth, diced carrots and celery and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper. After 20 minutes, add the meatballs to the broth as it simmers. Bring it to a boil, and let the soup simmer for another 30 minutes. Then, add the chopped spinach and onions and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
