Labour day weekend means back to school and for many of us, back to work. This tasty tuna salad recipe is a quick and simple recipe to prepare. Add it to a lettuce wrap, gluten free macaroni, or bread for an enjoyable lunch.
It’s one of my go-to recipes for a quick lunch option during the week. The avocado makes it creamy, so mayo isn’t needed! I usually will use tuna packed in water, but my husband loves it with oil. Whatever, you, this recipe will work with both. Add it to gluten free macaroni, or bread.
170g of canned tuna in water
2 celery hearts, chopped
1 avocado, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper
Simply mix all ingredients and enjoy!
