Immune Boosting Shot of Goodness!

Here’s a really great recipe to help boost your immune system, it’s easy to make and paleo friendly. It has everything you need to raise your immune system, fight off viruses and it’s jam packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. A little shot with a big zing. ⁣

I was recently in an airport and I can’t tell you how amazed I was at the complete relaxed approach people are taking in these uncertain times. Touching counters, exchanging money, touching their face… moreover I was surprised at all the junk food people were eating and drinking. ⁣

We’ve been told by the government how to protect ourselves from the coronavirus, and how to protect others if we contract the virus but what they aren’t telling us is how to support our immune systems. As much as stress can have you reaching for junk food, now more than ever is not the time as this will only stress your immune system further. Now is the time to give your body what it really needs: ⁣

*good nutrition (quality protein, healthy fats, leafy greens, nuts/seeds)⁣
*Staying hydrated (plenty of water, add some lemon or lime)⁣
*Take breaks from the news and get some outdoor time⁣
*Good quality sleep⁣
*Love and connection ⁣

Try this recipe below if you need a boost to your immune system!  You can also try our morning elixir recipe too!


1-2 tbsp of warm water⁣
1 tbsp of high quality honey or to taste ⁣
Juice of one lemon⁣
Juice of one orange⁣
1 tsp of fresh ginger ⁣
1/8 tsp of turmeric ⁣
Dash of cayenne pepper⁣
Dash or black pepper (helps increase the health benefits of turmeric)⁣
1 tsp of organic apple cider vinegar⁣


Either place the ingredients into a high speed blender or simply stir together. This makes approximately 4 shots, feel free to double or triple the recipe. ⁣
