All About Cashews

Have you noticed that many of our recipes include the use of cashews? Cashews have tons of health benefits – magnesium, zinc, iron, vitamin E and healthy fats.

Cashews, grown in tropical climates, are seeds that grow at the end of cashew “apples”. They are creamy and milky, which makes them a good choice as a dairy-free replacement. Raw cashews are so adaptable – we use cashews in our cheesecake recipes, our donuts, wraps, hummus, and nacho dip, and as a base for our egg-free mayonnaise, caesar salad dressing, dairy-free “mozzarella” cheese, and alfredo sauce. Find these recipes and many more delightful ways to use cashews in the Healthy Comforts cookbook!
